What information is available free of charge?

Please note that inspection of the following:-

  • Highways Register;
  • Public Rights of Way Definitive Maps;
  • Register of Common Land and Town and Village Green.

Suffolk County Council have made the list of streets available to view online here and by prior appointment it can also be viewed in hard copy at their offices at Endeavour House, Ipswich . Suffolk District and Borough Councils are also able to provide access to a copy and arrangements should be made with them direct.  

Please also note that under, Environmental Information Regulations 2004/Freedom of Information Regulations, information required under Questions 3.2, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and 3.11 of the CON29(R) will be initially dealt with by us via the following link:-

Please note, any information requested under EIR will be supplied as soon as reasonably possible within 20 working days of the request being accepted.  If we cannot provide the information, we will explain why within 20 working days of receipt.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has published guidance for the general public on “How to buy a home” and “How to sell a home”. This guidance has been developed following meetings last year with stakeholders including the Local Land Charges Institute.
